Lauren J. Hofmann is an associate in Morgan Lewis’s Business and Finance Practice. The lawyers in our Business and Finance Practice focus on mergers and acquisitions (including joint ventures, spin-offs, and strategic alliances), finance and restructuring, securities (including public and private equity and debt offerings), and tax. Clients range from Fortune 500 companies to investment banks to emerging market companies.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Hofmann served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Mary L. Cooper of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Ms. Hofmann also was an associate in the bankruptcy and financial services group of a prominent Philadelphia law firm.

Ms. Hofmann earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law in 2004, where she was named to the Order of the Coif and served as an associate editor for the Villanova Law Review. She earned her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Delaware in 2001.

Ms. Hofmann is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey.
