Alexandra C. LaFrankie is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Investment Management and Securities Industry Practice. Ms. LaFrankie focuses her practice primarily on regulatory and compliance matters, including the regulation of investment companies and investment advisers.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. LaFrankie was an associate in the investment management practice of another large law firm. She has advised and represented investment company clients in a variety of regulatory matters, including:

• Preparing and organizing mutual funds
• Preparing regulatory compliance materials including filings with the SEC and responding to and resolving SEC comments on such filings
• Preparing materials relating to shareholder meetings
• Preparing materials for and attending meetings of mutual fund boards of trustees

Ms. LaFrankie earned her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law in 2000, where she was an articles editor for the American University Law Review. She earned her B.A. from Dickinson College in 1995.

Ms. LaFrankie is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and New York.
