Simeon Spencer is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Labour and Employment Practice. Simeon leads the Labour and Employment Practice in Morgan Lewis's London office. His practice focuses on litigation, employment issues in corporate and sourcing transactions and data privacy issues. With significant experience in the technology sector, he has conducted advocacy work in Employment Tribunals and Employment Appeal Tribunals.
Simeon's labour capabilities have placed him on several prominent UK-based cases involving discrimination, human rights and whistleblowing. His noncontentious work includes significant multijurisdictional corporate projects related to outsourcing, M&A and IPO deals.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Simeon was of counsel in a leading international law firm in their employment, labour law litigation and data privacy practice. At the beginning of his career, Simeon spent two years as a barrister. He is a thought leader regarding employment law and related issues facing the United Kingdom and pan-European corporations with broad media and lecturing experience on those legal topics.
In Chambers UK: A Client's Guide to the UK Legal Profession (2008), Simeon was ranked in the "Best of the UK" category for Employment. He is described as being “sharp, talented, incredibly pragmatic and engaging.”
Simeon is admitted to practice in England and Wales as a Solicitor. He holds a seat on the Editorial Board of the Employment Lawyers' Association.
