Lorraine M. Casto is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. The lawyers in our Litigation Practice provide services in a wide range of areas including business and corporate disputes, corporate investigations and criminal defense, environmental, international arbitration, patent and trademark, securities, toxic tort, and product liability.

Ms. Casto focuses her practice on complex litigation, including intellectual property litigation involving various technologies such as computer hardware, test equipment, consumer electronics and medical devices, as well as general commercial litigation such as in matters involving contract disputes.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Casto worked as a senior IP paralegal at a large multinational law firm, as well as at a large multinational corporation in its IP law department. Ms. Casto has worked on varied intellectual property matters, including IP due diligence, licensing and litigation.

Ms. Casto earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she was a technical editor for the Santa Clara Law Review and where she won awards for oral advocacy in Moot Court and for excellence in commercial transactions studies. While in law school, Ms. Casto served as a judicial extern to Judge Patricia V. Trumbull of the District Court for the Northern District of California and, upon graduating from law school, Ms. Casto returned to Judge Trumbull as her judicial clerk. Ms. Casto earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in economics from San José State University in 2002.

Ms. Casto is admitted to practice in California.
