Forrest S. Henderson is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. His practice focuses primarily on technology based transactions involving software licensing and development, semiconductor design, patent licensing, technology consulting and technical services, content licensing, strategic alliances and joint ventures, research and collaboration, manufacturing and foundry relationships, and other transfers of intellectual property rights. In addition, Mr. Henderson counsels clients on intellectual property strategy and intellectual property issues in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and financings.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Henderson was a legal analyst in the licensing and technology department of a Fortune 100 technology company. While there, Mr. Henderson assisted in drafting and negotiating a wide variety of technology agreements and participated in open source software strategy. In addition, he was a law clerk for NASA's chief patent counsel at Ames Research Center in California.
Mr. Henderson earned his J.D. and high-tech law certificate in intellectual property from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2005. He earned his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University in 2002.
Mr. Henderson is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
