Dr. Sally Teng is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Intellectual Property Practice. Dr. Teng specializes in patent prosecution in the areas of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.
Previously, Dr. Teng served as a patent agent for Morgan Lewis. Prior to joining the firm, she was a patent examiner in the biotechnology group of the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office, where she specialized in recombinant cytokines, growth factors, and their receptors.
Dr. Teng earned her J.D. from George Mason University in 2005. She received her Ph.D. in chemistry from Yale University in 1987, and completed her postdoctoral fellowship in molecular biology at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1992. She received her B.S. in chemistry from Wellesley College in 1982.
Dr. Teng is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
