Dion M. Bregman is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Intellectual Property Practice. His practice focuses on patent counseling (strategy and prosecution) and enforcement (litigation). In particular, he has an active patent prosecution practice focusing on a wide range of technology areas, including medical devices, aerospace, software, hardware, telecommunications, business methods, and semiconductor packaging. His intellectual property litigation practice includes all aspects of case management in major patent lawsuits. He has devised and executed litigation strategy, and he has managed and coordinated efforts of litigation teams on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in many industries, including hardware, software, and mechanical devices. Mr. Bregman also has experience working with and advising start-up companies on intellectual property strategy. In a recent patent litigation, he represented a client in a lawsuit which resulted in a settlement in favor of his client in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis in 2004, Mr. Bregman practiced law for five years at Pennie & Edmonds. Before that, he practiced law at a prestigious intellectual property boutique firm in South Africa.

Mr. Bregman is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
