Michael A. Doherty is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Business Transactions Practice. Mr. Doherty's practice focuses on representation of technology companies as well as corporate and commercial representation of US, Asian and European companies doing business in the US and internationally.

Mr. Doherty is regularly involved in matters concerning technology licensing, transfers and research and development, distribution, marketing and other commercial agreements, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general representation of international clients. He has drafted and negotiated numerous acquisition agreements, joint venture agreements, patent, copyright and technology license agreements, including computer software license agreements, technical assistance agreements and research and development agreements involving technology companies in a variety of industries.

Mr. Doherty is admitted to practice in New York.
