Walter J. Godlewski III is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. Mr. Godlewski focuses his practice on corporate finance, public and private securities offerings, securities law compliance, corporate governance, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, asset sales, and general corporate matters. He primarily focuses on the energy and utility industries. He has been involved in a wide variety of financing transactions, including public and private offerings of debt and equity, tax-exempt bond offerings, tender offers, and bank lending transactions.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Godlewski was a business and finance partner at a national law firm.

Mr. Godlewski received his J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 1993, where he was lead article editor of the Washington and Lee Law Review. He received his B.A. in English and economics from Williams College in 1987.

Mr. Godlewski is admitted to practice in New York.
