Alan Singer is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Securities Practice. Mr. Singer's practice focuses on sophisticated corporate and securities matters, including the representation of companies and investment bankers in public and non-public offerings. He also advises companies with respect to annual and periodic Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings, executive compensation disclosure, corporate governance and other SEC regulatory and corporate matters.

Mr. Singer has written on various aspects of the securities laws, including integration of public and private offerings, internet disclosure issues, executive compensation disclosures, beneficial ownership reporting and sales of securities in the context of employee benefit plans. He is a course planner for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Annual Federal Securities Law Forum and has been a speaker at other educational programs relating to the securities laws.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Singer worked at the SEC in a variety of positions, including Branch Chief in the Division of Enforcement in Washington, D.C. At the SEC, he supervised and participated in investigations and civil actions relating to a variety of matters, including financial fraud, illegal foreign payments and other reporting violations.

Mr. Singer is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York.
