Edward S. Keefe is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice and part of the Corporate Investigations and White Collar Group. Mr. Keefe represents organizations and individuals in the context of federal and state criminal and civil enforcement matters and litigation involving claims of fraud and abuse. He is experienced in conducting internal investigations involving complex securities fraud and accounting related issues. He also counsels clients on a wide variety of corporate compliance matters. Mr. Keefe has represented clients before both the Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Mr. Keefe is an experienced trial lawyer. In addition to his white collar practice, he continues to litigate complex civil matters in federal and state courts.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Keefe was a trial attorney for several years in the Honors Program of the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division. In this role, he served as trial counsel in major voting rights cases in federal courts across the country. Additionally, he served as a special assistant U.S. attorney prosecuting local criminal matters for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia.
Mr. Keefe is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Massachusetts.
