Daniel J. Struck is of counsel in Morgan Lewis’s Litigation Practice, with a focus on insurance recovery litigation and providing insurance advice and counseling. Mr. Struck represents corporate policyholders throughout the U.S. in complex insurance advisory matters and insurance coverage litigation. He advises clients with respect to the structure, negotiation, and placement of their insurance programs, including Directors and Officers, Fiduciary Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Media Liability, Crime, Representations and Warranties, Internet Activity, Bankers Liability, General Liability, Environmental Liability, Product Recall, Builders Risk, and First Party Property insurance, as well as with the design and negotiation of wrap, difference in conditions, and captive insurance products. He also counsels clients in connection with insurance-related due diligence and the insurance implications of corporate spin-offs and potential changes in corporate control. Mr. Struck also represents and advises policyholder clients in insurance disputes and litigation.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Struck was a law clerk to Judge Brian B. Duff of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (1996-1997). Immediately following law school, Mr. Struck was an assistant corporation counsel in the New York City Law Department (1993-1996), where he focused on commercial, governmental procurement, and civil rights litigation. Mr. Struck earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1993 and his B.A. from the University of Dallas in 1988.

Mr. Struck regularly writes and speaks on insurance-related matters of interest to corporate policyholders.

Mr. Struck is admitted to practice in Illinois and New York.
