Jia Chen is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Intellectual Property Practice. Ms. Chen focuses her practice on patent litigation, patent infringement and invalidity opinion work, and patent procurement in the electrical and mechanical arts.

Ms. Chen earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2007, where she was a recipient of the Dean's Elite Scholarship and the E. Kaplan Scholarship. While in law school, Ms. Chen was the teaching director for the Civil Rights Moot Court Competition Team. She also served a judicial externship with Judge Joan N. Ericksen of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. Ms. Chen earned her B.S. in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2002. She is fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin Chinese.
