Jennifer L. Bradford is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Ms. Bradford concentrates her practice in the defense and counseling of employers on all aspects of labor and employment law, with a focus on managing the defense of wage and hour class actions.
Ms. Bradford has handled the representation of employers in employment-related litigation and administrative proceedings, including claims for wage and hour violations, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, misappropriation of trade secrets, and unfair competition. She also has a background in counseling employers on how to comply with various federal and state laws governing the employment relationship, including personnel policies, wage and hour issues, leaves of absence rights, personnel actions, protection of proprietary information, sexual harassment and other workplace investigations, disability accommodations, and strategic restructuring.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Bradford worked at another large international law firm in Orange County, California, where she focused on representing employers in employment matters.
Ms. Bradford received her J.D., summa cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1999, where she worked as literary editor for the Pepperdine Law Review. She received the outstanding student award in Business and Commercial Law and earned American Jurisprudence awards in Civil Procedure I, Contracts II, Torts II, Wills & Trusts, Products Liability, Remedies, Copyrights, and Patent Law. Ms. Bradford received her B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1996.
Ms. Bradford is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Southern, Northern, and Eastern Districts of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
