Ruediger Martin Koch is an associate in Morgan Lewis’s Business and Finance Practice. Mr. Koch focuses his practice on civil litigation. He represents clients in interim and main proceedings before German courts at both the trial court and appellate levels. He also assists with litigation matters before U.S. Courts when German law is invoked. Mr. Koch regularly handles banking law, rules and regulations governing option trading, and private building law.
Mr. Koch represents clients in U.S. cases involving options trading before German courts, and investors from the United States in German liability cases. He also has represented banks in complex civil litigation matters and has several years of experience representing construction companies in disputes concerning private building law.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Koch was a litigator at a law firm in the Frankfurt area where he focused on banking law and rules and regulations governing the construction business. He also served as a law clerk for the Frankfurt Courts.
Mr. Koch passed his second state exam in Frankfurt, Germany in 2004. He received his LL.M. from the University of London, King’s College in 2001 and passed his first state exam at Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main in 2000. Mr. Koch is fluent in German and English.
