Alan J. Neuwirth is a senior partner in Morgan Lewis's Business Transactions Practice, and is Head of the Firm's Japan Practice. Mr. Neuwirth maintains offices in New York and Tokyo.

Mr. Neuwirth has represented major Asian-based industrial, trading and service companies for more than 30 years in their dealings in and with the United States, and he serves as a director of several of their U.S. subsidiaries. His practice includes general corporate, finance and commercial matters, acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, intellectual property and technology licensing, research and development projects, antitrust and trade regulation matters, and dispute resolution, in a variety of industries including, among others, electronics, chemicals, metals, automotive, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment.

Mr. Neuwirth lectures frequently and has co-authored several articles on international commerce and trade, published in the Journal of the Japanese Institute of International Business Law (Kokusai Shoji Homu), and elsewhere.
