Richard P. Brown, Jr. serves as counsel in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Brown was a partner of the firm from 1956 to 1988. Mr. Brown practiced in the Litigation Section from 1948 to 1988. He was Administrator of the Section from 1967 to 1971 and Chairman of the Section from 1972 to 1978. He was Senior Trial Counsel of the Section from 1979 to 1988.

Mr. Brown practiced before Pennsylvania and Federal courts and participated in the Girard College case representing the Trustees of the Will of Stephen Girard. He argued before the U.S. Supreme Court in the Stern v. South Chester Tube Company case. In addition, Mr. Brown led a litigation team representing United States Gypsum Company in asbestos litigation cases.
