Michelle M. Kim-Szrom is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Ms. Kim-Szrom's practice focuses on antitrust and securities litigation. She has represented a multinational technology company in an antitrust investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice as well as in complex antitrust litigation in state and federal courts. Ms. Kim-Szrom has also represented a large financial services firm in an investigation by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Ms. Kim-Szrom has an active and diverse pro bono practice in the areas of education rights and immigration. She has represented students in school discipline proceeding and represented a client seeking an adjustment to permanent resident status, having successfully obtained a T-visa.
Ms. Kim-Szrom received her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 2007, where she was an associate editor for the Journal of International Human Rights. While in law school, she worked as a student attorney in Northwestern's Children and Family Justice Center and externed for Senior Judge Robert J. Timlin of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Prior to law school, Ms. Kim-Szrom worked as a federal investigator in the San Francisco District Office of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where she investigated individual and class claims of employment discrimination. Ms. Kim-Szrom received her B.A., cum laude, in political science from the University of California, San Diego in 2001.
Ms. Kim-Szrom is admitted to practice in California.
