Ingrid A. Myers

Ingrid A. Myers is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. Ms. Myers's practice concentrates on many aspects of business law, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance including public and private securities offerings, securities law issues, project development and finance, and general corporate law. She has represented a wide variety of clients, including public and private corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships in the manufacturing, aerospace, life sciences, and energy industries.

Ms. Myers has experience in a wide range of transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, investments, financing transactions (in both public and private debt and equity securities offerings), and project development and financing. She also has significant experience in the energy industry, where she has represented energy industry participants in acquisitions of power generating plants, utilities, and pipelines, and the development of projects with respect to land and water rights acquisitions, construction agreements, equipment procurement, offtake agreements, and fuel supply agreements. In addition, Ms. Myers has extensive experience in the mining industry and has worked as a geologist for several mining and petroleum companies, such as Newmont Exploration, Ltd., a subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corporation.

Ms. Myers received her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 1997. While in law school, she interned for Judge Harry L. Hupp of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. She received her Ph.D. in geology from James Cook University of North Queensland, Australia in 1994, her M.S. from the University of Nevada in 1984, and her B.S. from the University of Nevada in 1981.
