Craig A. Stanfield is an associate in Morgan Lewis’s Litigation Practice. Mr. Stanfield concentrates his practice on general civil-trial and appellate litigation matters, and has a background in complex briefing and appeals.

Mr. Stanfield’s practice includes representation of national and international entities before state and federal trial and appellate courts. He has successfully represented clients at all stages of litigation, from securing summary judgment to second-chairing a trial at which he successfully obtained a directed verdict at the close of the plaintiff’s case. He has also taken part in the successful representation of clients before the courts of appeals.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Stanfield was a briefing attorney for the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Stanfield received his J.D., cum laude, from American University, Washington College of Law in 2005, where he was a Dean's Fellow and a member of the Moot Court team that won the 2004 Niagara Cup International Moot Court Competition and the Best Respondent Team Argument. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, in economics and international studies from Texas A&M University in 2001. Mr. Stanfield also studied at Moscow State University.
