Jessica L. Anders is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Ms. Anders focuses her practice on commercial, construction, and business litigation matters.

Ms. Anders counsels clients in a wide range of complex disputes, including contract, construction, professional negligence, tort, financial services, and products liability matters. She has represented plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state court proceedings as well as at arbitration and mediation. Ms. Anders has also handled all aspects of litigation, from the early stages through to verdict.

Additionally, Ms. Anders has experience counseling clients through all phases of construction projects, including the bidding process, contract negotiation, contract compliance throughout the life of the project, and prosecuting actions against both state and local agencies.

Ms. Anders also maintains an active pro bono practice, where her work focuses on homeless advocacy and prisoner civil rights.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Anders was an associate at a large national law firm, where her practice concentrated on commercial and construction matters, including the representation of corporations, developers, contractors, sureties, and suppliers on both public and private construction projects.

Ms. Anders earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law in 2006, where she was an associate editor for the Villanova Law Review and served as co-chair of the Women's Law Caucus. During her third year of law school, she served as a judicial extern to Judge Marjorie O. Rendell of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Ms. Anders earned her B.A., cum laude, in history from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003.

Ms. Anders is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
