Vladimir Fet is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. Mr. Fet's practice focuses on project development, mergers and acquisitions, financings, and international transactions, with an emphasis on the energy sector.

Mr. Fet's transactional experience includes representing oil and gas developers and refiners, LNG producers, and oil-field service companies. He has represented U.S. and foreign clients in a number of cross-border transactions involving acquisitions and divestitures of energy-related assets in the United States, a number of South American and African countries, Russia, and Kazakhstan. He also represents power generation companies and public utilities in the negotiation of commercial project contracts, such as construction contracts, equipment supply contracts, and power purchase agreements.

Mr. Fet received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center in 2004, where he served as notes and comments editor for the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal. Prior to entering law school, he worked as a freelance interpreter for a variety of clients, including several major oil and gas companies, NASA, and the presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan. Mr. Fet received his B.A./M.A., cum laude, in English from M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia in 1987. He is fluent in Russian and English.

Mr. Fet is admitted to practice in California and Texas.
