Lisa Barton is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice. Ms. Barton's practice focuses on all aspects of the firm's employee benefits practice, including the design, drafting, and operation of tax-qualified benefit plans, nonqualified deferred compensation plans, executive and equity compensation arrangements, and welfare benefit plans. This guidance includes advising with respect to compliance with the Internal Revenue Code, ERISA, COBRA, and other applicable laws.

Ms. Barton also assists clients with benefits issues arising in the context of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate restructuring. These issues include pre-transaction assessment of benefits liabilities to post-transaction integration of benefits.

Ms. Barton is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
