Beth S. Joseph is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice, resident in the Miami office. Ms. Joseph’s practice focuses on the representation of management in a wide range of labor and employment law matters before federal and state courts as well as administrative agencies with a concentration on harassment, discrimination and retaliation. Ms. Joseph also has extensive experience with wage and hour issues before the Department of Labor and in court.

Ms. Joseph regularly represents retail establishments, hotels, and governmental entities on matters related to public accommodation issues pursuant to Titles II and III of the Americans with Disability Act.

Ms. Joseph also provides on-going advice, counseling, and anti-harassment training to her clients; conducts internal investigations of employee complaints; and drafts employment policies and manuals, and separation agreements and releases. She speaks regularly on issues related to the Family and Medical Leave Act as well as the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Ms. Joseph is the co-editor of the Public Accommodations Under the Americans with Disabilities Act Compliance and Litigation Manual, 2003 & 2004 editions.

Ms. Joseph is a member of the Florida and American Bar Associations. She is the former Chair of the Fair Labor Standards Act Committee of the Labor and Employment Section of the Florida Bar and is the immediate past Director of Legislative Affairs for the Greater Miami Society for Human Resources.

Ms. Joseph earned her J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center in 1995, and her A.B. from Duke University in 1992.

Ms. Joseph is admitted to practice in Florida.
