Imke Rohmert is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. The lawyers in our Business and Finance Practice focus on mergers and acquisitions (including joint ventures, spin-offs, and strategic alliances), finance and restructuring, securities (including public and private equity and debt offerings), and tax. Clients range from Fortune 500 companies to investment banks to emerging market companies.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Rohmert served her legal clerkship in Kiel, Germany. During her legal training, she worked at a German bank, with a strong focus on transport finance, and at the German Consulate General in Hong Kong.
Ms. Rohmert passed her Second State Exam at the University of Kiel, Germany in 2006, and she received her LL.M. in corporate and commercial law from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia in 2003. During her legal clerkship in Kiel, Germany, she participated in courses that allow her to qualify as a lawyer specializing in tax law. Ms. Rohmert passed her First State Exam from the University of Bonn Law School in 2002, where she participated in the Eighth Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. Ms. Rohmert is fluent in English and German.
