Steven J. Garrett is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. Garrett’s practice focuses on employment litigation, with an emphasis on defending discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and class action claims. He represents employers in arbitrations and before a variety of administrative agencies, and he counsels employers on all aspects of employment law, including risk management and litigation prevention. Mr. Garrett has also litigated complex product liability claims.
Mr. Garrett received his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2002. During law school, he was a member of the University of San Francisco Law Review and clerked for the San Mateo District Attorney’s Office. Mr. Garrett received his B.B.A. degrees in finance and management from Texas A&M University in 1999, where he was on the Dean's Honors List.
Mr. Garrett is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California.
