Jill Baisinger is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Ms. Baisinger's practice concentrates on the representation of corporate and individual clients in securities litigation, regulatory inquiries, and enforcement investigations. Ms. Baisinger also has represented corporate and individual clients in actions asserting direct breaches of fiduciary duty and derivative claims.
Ms. Baisinger is currently defending several putative shareholder class actions brought under the federal securities laws and has worked on successful motions to dismiss under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. In addition, she has represented corporations and individuals in investigations by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the National Association of Securities Dealers, and the Department of Justice.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Baisinger focused on corporate investigations and defense at a midsized regional firm. From 1998 to 2000, Ms. Baisinger clerked for Judge Marvin Katz of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Baisinger is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia.
