Tomika N. Stevens is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. The lawyers in our Litigation Practice provide services in a wide range of areas including business and corporate disputes, corporate investigations and criminal defense, environmental, international arbitration, patent and trademark, securities, toxic tort, and product liability.

Ms. Stevens has a significant clinical and research background as a psychologist. Her clinical training has focused primarily in the areas of trauma and forensics, including a 2003-2004 predoctoral internship at the Medical University of South Carolina. Ms. Stevens also has conducted social science research with particular emphasis on victimization and violence risk. She is currently collaborating with the Federal Bureau of Investigations to gather and analyze data on child abductions. Ms. Stevens served as an adjunct faculty member at Temple University in the criminal justice department in 2002. She also has lectured on law and mental health issues and delivered and co-authored paper and poster presentations at major psychology and law-psychology conferences.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Stevens served as a law clerk to Judge Juan R. Sánchez of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Prior to that, she was an associate at a leading national law firm, where she represented corporate clients, organizations, and individuals before state and federal courts in a wide range of litigation matters, both at the trial and appellate level.

Ms. Stevens received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law in 2003, where she was named to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, she served as the executive editor of the Villanova Law Review and authored "Admissibility of Expert Testimony on Repressed Memories of Childhood Sexual Abuse in Logerquist v. McVey: Reliability Takes a Backseat to Relevancy," 46 Vill. L. Rev 385 (2001), for which she was nominated for the 2001 Scribes Law Review Competition. Ms. Stevens also served on the Moot Court Board and received accolades for her oral advocacy skills. Ms. Stevens earned her B.A. in psychology with a certificate in theatre and dance from Princeton University in 1997.

Ms. Stevens is a member of the the American Bar Association, the Virginia Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar Young Lawyers Conference, the American Psychological Association, and the American Psychology-Law Society.

Ms. Stevens is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the District of Columbia, and Virginia and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
