Jason Acevedo

Associate

Jason T. Acevedo is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. Mr. Acevedo focuses his practice on meeting the business and legal needs of emerging growth companies in the life sciences and technology sectors and of venture capitalists and other investors in emerging growth companies. Mr. Acevedo has represented companies and venture capital firms in a variety of complex transactions, including private offerings of equity and debt securities, acquisitions and dispositions of private companies, and joint ventures and other strategic partnerships, as well as business process outsourcing and commercial and licensing agreements. Additionally, he regularly counsels boards of directors and senior management of companies on governance, disclosure, and transactional matters, as well as on general corporate matters.

Mr. Acevedo earned his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law and his M.B.A. from Villanova University School of Commerce and Finance in 2005. Prior to law school, Mr. Acevedo worked as a listed block trading analyst at a financial service organization in New York. Mr. Acevedo received his B.S., summa cum laude, in finance from Arizona State University in 2001.

Mr. Acevedo is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
