Brian P. Long is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Attorneys in this practice regularly advise clients on virtually every type of labor and employment issue, from international counseling to management relations and labor disputes. Attorneys include the former chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association, fellows in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, and partners recognized for professional excellence in The Best Lawyers in America.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Long practiced with a small labor and employment plaintiff's firm in Santa Monica, where he specialized in harassment and discrimination as well as wage and hour claims. Since joining Morgan Lewis in 2005, Mr. Long has worked on a variety of employment and labor litigation matters, including several wage and hour class actions as well as advice to employers regarding collective bargaining agreements.

Mr. Long received his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 2004. While in law school, Mr. Long held an externship with Judge Richard A. Paez of the U.S. Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Long also held an externship with one of the nation's largest pro bono law firms where he received the Volunteer of the Year Award. In 2001, he received his B.A. in economics and philosophy from Claremont McKenna College.
