Margaret "Peggy" C. Finster is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Attorneys in this practice offer clients proven knowledge and skills in dealing with virtually every type of labor and employment issue, from international counseling to management relations and labor disputes. Attorneys include the former chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association, fellows in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, and partners recognized for professional excellence in The Best Lawyers in America.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Finster served as a law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge Theodore H. Katz of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Ms. Finster earned her J.D. from Columbia University Law School in 2003, where she received the Samual I. Rosenman Prize for academic excellence in public law and the Valentin J.T. Wertheimer Prize for labor and employment law.  While in law school, Ms. Finster was a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar and a member of the Journal of Gender and Law.  Ms. Finster earned her B.A., with honors, from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1995, where she was a Presidential Scholar and Insignis Scholar.

Ms. Finster is admitted to practice in New York and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
