Richard H. Lee is an associate in Morgan Lewis’s Litigation Practice. The lawyers in our Litigation Practice provide services in a wide range of areas including business and corporate disputes, corporate investigations and criminal defense, environmental, international arbitration, patent and trademark, securities, toxic tort, and product liability. Mr. Lee’s practice focuses on a broad range of state and federal litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on insurance recovery litigation. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in lawsuits involving business tort and contract claims.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Lee worked at a large international law firm and participated in a variety of commercial suits. These suits included the representation of Pacific Rim companies and Fortune 500 domestic corporations in business disputes that culminated in jury trials in the Los Angeles County Superior Court and Orange County Superior Court, private arbitration, and administrative hearings before state agencies.
Mr. Lee is active in the Barristers Section of the L.A. County Bar Association, having served as a member of its Executive Committee and vice chair of its Networking Committee since 2003. He also served as treasurer of the Barristers Section from 2005 to 2007 and co-chair of the Barristers' CLE Committee from 2005 to 2006.
Mr. Lee earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Law School in 2002. He earned his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1999, where he was a Chancellor’s Scholar.
Mr. Lee is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
