Charles C. Jackson is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. Jackson is Co-chair of the LEPG's Employee Benefits Litigation Subpractice Group.
Mr. Jackson has more than 30 years of experience representing employers with respect to a broad range of labor and employment and employee benefits matters. His practice focuses on representing employers in complex labor, employment and employee benefits litigation, particularly in class and collective actions. He has extensive trial experience, having tried numerous jury and other cases to verdict. He also has substantial experience with appellate matters and has handled dozens of cases before federal and state appellate courts and served as counsel in several cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. He also has led amicus efforts in an array of jurisdictions, and has had significant pro bono representations.
Mr. Jackson is a fellow of The College of Labor & Employment Lawyers. From 2005 through 2008, Mr. Jackson was named one of the leading U.S. lawyers for employment law by Chambers USA, based on the views of clients, peers, and other industry professionals. Chambers called Mr. Jackson "a real star of the profession" and "an aggressive, high-energy litigator and effective pursuer of settlements."
Mr. Jackson is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Illinois Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, Ninth, Tenth, and Eleventh Circuits.
