Jan Klumb is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. The lawyers in our Business and Finance Practice focus on mergers and acquisitions (including joint ventures, spin-offs, and strategic alliances), finance and restructuring, securities (including public and private equity and debt offerings), and tax. Clients range from Fortune 500 companies to investment banks to emerging market companies.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Dr. Klumb served his legal clerkship at the District Court of Freiburg. During his training period, he worked in the legal department of a U.S.-based chemical company.
Dr. Klumb received his LL.M. in commercial law from the University of Glasgow, Scotland in 2006. He received his Ph.D. in conflicts of laws from the University of Konstanz and passed his Second State Examination in Baden-Württemberg, Germany in 2004. He studied law at the University of Konstanz, where he passed his First State Examination in 2001. Dr. Klumb is fluent in French, English, and German.
