Carole R. Klein

Senior Counsel

Carole R. Klein is senior counsel in Morgan Lewis's Intellectual Property Practice. Ms. Klein focuses her practice on intellectual property, primarily in the areas of trademarks, copyrights and licensing. Her background in trademark and copyright matters includes trademark infringement litigation.

Ms. Klein has an extensive background in handling complex transactions relating to intellectual property, including drafting and negotiating intellectual property aspects of commercial transactions and licenses of intellectual property for the production and distribution of consumer products and services as well as related agreements. Ms. Klein counsels clients on international and domestic trademark issues, including worldwide trademark enforcement and protection strategies.

Ms. Klein has been active on various association committees since 1991. From 2000-2001, she served as Vice Chair of the INTA Meetings Committee and the INTA Meetings Board.

Ms. Klein earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1990 and her B.S.F.S. from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in 1982.

Ms. Klein is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
