Darien J. Covelens is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. The lawyers in our Business and Finance Practice focus on mergers and acquisitions (including joint ventures, spin-offs, and strategic alliances), finance and restructuring, securities (including public and private equity and debt offerings), and tax. Clients range from Fortune 500 companies to investment banks to emerging market companies.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Covelens served as a law clerk for Judge Lawrence F. Stengel of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Covelens received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2005, where he served as a notes editor on the Hastings Law Journal. He received his B.S., magna cum laude, in economics and business administration from Eastern Mennonite University in 2001.

Mr. Covelens is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
