With a distinguished legal career in private law practice and a distinguished public service career as deputy counsel to President Nixon, counsel to Presidents Reagan and Bush, and commissioner of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States (commonly referred to as the 9/11 Commission), Mr. Fielding brings the perspective of a skilled negotiator, strategist, and handler of complex and sensitive issues to every matter he addresses.
Mr. Fielding works with a team of Morgan Lewis attorneys who possess the ability to understand and resolve the political, public relations, and practical dimensions of significant Washington problems. The team includes former senior level executive branch officials from both Republican and Democratic administrations who have served in the Department of Justice, the Internal Revenue Service, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and U.S. Attorney's offices, among others. In addition, the team draws support from the firm's deep regulatory and substantive legal and industry expertise.
