On June 4, 2004 the Administrative Law Judge approved the settlement of the OFCCP's enforcement action against Wyeth and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. The OFCCP had filed this well-publicized enforcement based on allegations of compensation discrimination against women arising from a 1997 compliance review. That compliance review utilized the "DuBray Method" of analyzing compensation based on a comparison of medians within job grades. Wyeth has always denied that its compensation system was discriminatory and the settlement acknowledged there has been no finding of discrimination.
