PHILADELPHIA, December 9, 2013: For the sixth year in a row, Morgan Lewis has been recognized by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation with a perfect score of 100 percent in its annual Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and has earned the coveted distinction of “Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality.”
The 2014 CEI is a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the educational arm of America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality.
The 2014 CEI rated 734 businesses in the report, which evaluates 40 corporate policies and practices related to LGBT employees and their families. Morgan Lewis’s efforts in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria resulted in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.
