Morgan Lewis Earns Number 4 Ranking Among 336 Firms Named To BTI Client Service A-Team

PHILADELPHIA, November 19, 2013: BTI Consulting Group announced today that Morgan Lewis has been ranked 4th among the 336 law firms serving large and Fortune 1000 clients named to the BTI Client Service A-Team 2014.

Morgan Lewis’s 2014 ranking represents what BTI referred to as a “staggering” 21-place leap forward from its 25th place 2013 ranking within the Client Service A-Team’s prestigious BTI Client Service 30 list, which consists of law firms that “distinguish themselves as the absolute best,” according to BTI. Morgan Lewis’s 2014 ranking represents the firm’s 13th consecutive year on the BTI Client Service 30 list.

The BTI Client Service A-Team rankings are based on interviews with nearly 300 corporate counsel at Global 500 and Fortune 1000 organizations spanning more than 15 industries. Law firms’ client services performance is segmented into 17 categories among which include client focus, commitment to help, understanding of the client’s business, legal skills and innovative approach.  Morgan Lewis was ranked in the top echelon, labeled “Best of the Best,” in three of the four categories deemed by BTI as most important to corporate counsel: “client focus,” “commitment to help,” and “understands the client’s business.”

According to the BTI Client Service A-Team report, corporate counsel that were surveyed note that “Morgan Lewis earns accolades as a ‘bet-the-company’ and ‘go-to’ firm because of their ‘outstanding expertise’ combined with ‘great service’ and their ‘partnership’ with clients.
