Veteran Bankruptcy and Restructuring Lawyer Joins Morgan Lewis

NEW YORK, October 17, 2013: Morgan Lewis announced today that Glenn E. Siegel—a lawyer with more than 25 years of experience handling high level bankruptcy matters for a diverse client base-—has joined the firm as a partner in its Business and Finance Practice and co-head of its Bankruptcy and Restructuring Group, resident in New York.

Mr. Siegel, who was most recently a partner in the bankruptcy, business restructuring and reorganization practice of another Am Law 100 global law firm, has advised major stakeholders in a multitude of bankruptcy cases over the course of his career. He has counseled bondholders, indenture trustees, acquirers of distressed businesses and assets, secured creditors, shareholders, debtors, and other participants in bankruptcy and workout matters.

Mr. Siegel joins a Business and Finance team that spans the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, with more than 350 transactional lawyers who focus on a wide variety of areas, including private equity, finance, bankruptcy and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets.
