NEW YORK, January 16, 2009: Morgan Lewis has been ranked among the top mergers and acquisitions law firms for the fourth quarter of 2008. Some of the firm's accomplishments this quarter include:
- Ranked fifth (tie), number of transactions, PIPE Market Issuer Counsel, Q4 2008
- Ranked 11th, U.S. target completed deals, Thomson Reuters, Q4 2008
- Ranked top 15, United States announced deals valued up to $50 million, United States announced deals valued up to $250 million, and United States announced deals valued up to $500 million, Bloomberg, Q4 2008
In addition, the firm ranked within the top 10 on several of Buyouts magazine's fourth quarter 2008 Legal League Tables.
