Morgan Lewis Partner Laurie Foster Appointed as Vice Chair of the International Commercial Dispute Resolution Committee

Morgan Lewis Litigation Partner Laurie Foster was recently appointed as Vice Chair of the International Commercial Dispute Resolution Committee of the International Section of the American Bar Association for 2007-2008. This committee focuses on the "practical aspects of conducting international arbitrations under ICC, LCIA, AAA, and other institutional rules; ad hoc arbitrations under UNCITRAL rules; arbitration rules of the World Intellectual Property Organization Arbitration Center established in Geneva; efforts in the United States to require greater disclosure by potential arbitrators; and development of model international arbitration clauses," as described by the ABA. Ms. Foster also has been appointed to the Steering Groups of the International Litigation Committee and the Women's Interest Network of the International Section. Ms. Foster begins her term in August at the ABA Annual Meeting.
