Morgan Lewis environmental special counsel Michael Steinberg submitted written testimony on behalf of the Superfund Settlements Project to the Senate Subcommittee on Clean Air and Nuclear Safety for its latest hearing on Superfund issues. The hearing, titled "Oversight of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Superfund Program," took place on July 22 at 10 a.m. Mr. Steinberg laid out a case for why Superfund taxes, that expired in 1995, should not be reimposed.
