MIAMI, April 11, 2014: Morgan Lewis congratulates Miami office Labor and Employment Practice partner Anne Marie Estevez for being named a 2014 “Woman of the Year” by Hispanic Business magazine. Anne was recognized for her role as the general counsel of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, a pro bono position she assumed in January 2014 while remaining a full time practicing partner at Morgan Lewis. She is one of ten women from across industries nation-wide that the award recognized for their business acumen as well as social and institutional leadership. The magazine specifically recognized Anne for her diverse employment law practice focused on the defense and trial of complex employment and accessibility (ADA) cases in federal and state courts, and her work advising, training, and counseling companies on state and federal employment and accessibility laws.
Anne was previously named a Hispanic Business “Woman of the Year” in 2006. Earlier this year she was named a BTI Client Service All-Star, and from 2006-2013 she was listed as one of the leading U.S. lawyers for employment law by Chambers USA.
