PARIS, February 16, 2005: Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP announced today that Stéphan Alamowitch joins Morgan Lewis from Orrick Herrington’s Paris office, establishing a global finance presence for Morgan Lewis in Paris. Two associates join Alamowitch in the move.
At Orrick (formerly Watson Farley & Williams in Paris), Alamowitch was Head of Structured Finance. He has a broad array of experience, including a long list of sophisticated financing transactions, many of which involve multinational companies. His practice meshes with Morgan Lewis’ international practice, which includes representing agents, participants and sole lenders and borrowers in connection with traditional bank financings, project financings, structured financings, real estate financings and securitization transactions, as well as corporate finance transactions and derivatives transactions.
He began practicing in 1987 after completing his studies which included the Institute d’Etudes Politiques de Paris, the University of Paris IX (Master of Economics) and the University of Paris X et Paris I (Licence, maîtrise, D.E.A. in Business Law). He also received his LLM from Duke University School of Law in 1990.
Alamowitch, and the other lawyers, join Morgan Lewis’ expanding Paris office, which opened in June 2004, and is home to a team of 23 lawyers practicing in the corporate, labor and employment, litigation and antitrust areas.
