Morgan Lewis Advises Phoenix Technologies on Acquisition by Marlin Equity Partners

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., August 19, 2010: On Tuesday, Phoenix Technologies Ltd., a global leader in core systems software, entered into a definitive merger agreement with Marlin Equity Partners, where Marlin will acquire all outstanding shares of Phoenix stock for $3.85 per share, or approximately $139 million.
Morgan Lewis acted as legal advisor to Phoenix on the transaction. The team was led by Business and Finance partner William A. Myers, who was assisted by Antitrust partner Harry T.
