Morgan Lewis Boosts Its London Office with New Employment Team

Morgan Lewis & Bockius is pleased to announce the addition of an Employment and Labour Law practice to its London Office. Simeon Spencer is joining the firm as a partner on 4th January 2006.
Simeon joins Morgan Lewis from Morrison & Foerster where, for the last three and a half years, he has helped to build the employment, labour law litigation and data privacy practice and has represented a variety of corporate clients from all industry sectors in both contentious and non-contentious matters.
Simeon has conducted advocacy work in Employment Tribunals and Employment Appeal Tribunal and he has worked on several high profile cases involving discrimination, human rights and 'whistle-blowing'.
His non-contentious work covers all areas including a great deal of multi-jurisdictional corporate support work on M&A, outsourcing and TUPE, IPO deals. Simeon also advises on multi-jurisdictional data protection and privacy projects including in relation to the global transfer of personal data and the use of technology in the workplace.
Simeon is well known for lecturing and presenting seminars and briefings to clients and other organisations on employment law and related issues. He regularly contributes to leading publications in this area and the national press and he has a seat on the Editorial Board of the Employment Lawyers' Association.
Simeon brings with him senior associate Angela Gill, whose expertise covers all aspects of Employment Law, both contentious and non-contentious. She has particular experience in the statutory and regulatory aspects of employment law and in handling complex employment tribunal litigation.
