NEW YORK, August 25, 2011: Today, Bloomberg LP and BNA announced that they have entered into an agreement whereby Bloomberg will acquire all outstanding shares of BNA at $39.50 per share in a cash tender offer, followed by a merger, for a total price of approximately $990 million. Evercore Partners, a leading independent investment banking advisory firm, advised BNA on the sale.
Morgan Lewis served as counsel to Evercore Partners. Bloomberg's acquisition of BNA, a legal tax and regulatory research company, expands the company's legal and government services business.
