PHILADELPHIA, March 3, 2014: Morgan Lewis is pleased to announce that Washington Office Managing Partner Grace Speights is recognized on the Lawyers of Color 2014 “Power List.” The annual Lawyers of Color “Power List” recognizes minority attorneys working in government, academics, and the public and private sectors. Ms. Speights is also featured in Lawyers of Color’s “Power Issue,” released on March 1.
Ms. Speights is a partner in Morgan Lewis’s Labor and Employment Practice, Managing Partner of the Washington, DC office, chair of the Systemic Employment Litigation Practice, and co-chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee. Ms. Speights counsels and defends clients in connection with employment discrimination claims, primarily involving allegations of class claims, and counsels clients regarding best practices for corporate diversity initiatives.
In addition to the Lawyers of Color “Power List,” Ms. Speights has been included in Washingtonian magazine’s “Best Lawyers” for 2013 and was named to the Washington Business Journal’s 2012 “Women Who Mean Business” list. She is also listed in both The Legal 500 and Chambers USA.
